You know, I think the above post should cause us all to worry a bit. The only thing Fredo has managed to do right in six years is win two elections, and because of that, he's considered by some to be smarter than the two guys he beat. Even worse, despite completely screwing up, breaking the law several times, violating the oath of office he swore to honor and killing over 2,500 Americans, we still honor this jackass because he managed to swindle a few more votes.

    There's something wrong with that.

If only there were some sort of check-and-balance system in place to ensure this kinda shit didn't happen.

I think the real question is, Who Shouldn't We Nuke?

Have at it, sweet neo-cons. Who's not on the chopping block.

Well, that's not true. The tax cuts have not only put more money in all of our pockets, they brought this nation's economy quickly out of recession and have us at the point where we're at full employment.
And someday, if I think real, real hard, I might think of a second good thing.

Our little Hondo chimes in with his second-grade-caliber retort.

Your brain must be the size of a thimble.

I think scientists say the last time they saw that phenomena on animals as large as you was Stegosaurus.

    Ooooooooooh, that's right, scientists.

    More idiots.

    It's all funny money.

All that extra "caysh" in our pockets is going straight into oil corporations' pockets now. The full employment you speak of consists in large part of former high-wage earners flipping burgers, and in equally large part of people who have given up looking for work and aren't counted in the employment figures. Personal debt levels are at all-time highs. The joyride stops as soon as there's no more credit to max out in order to feed and house our families.

Thanks to Dear Leader's tax cut and his plundering of the Treasury through no-bid contracts in Iraq and on the Gulf Coast, our governmental debt (not budget deficit, but the overall debt) is at an all-time high. The two biggest foreign holders of our national debt are Saudi Arabia and China. Wait until they call in their markers — that'll be fun.

Watching any news or opinion talk shows and expecting a serious level of discourse and analysis is like watching Barney and expecting hard core porn.

I know, but, damn, people actually enjoy watching two guys screaming and talking over each other? At least "Around the Horn" has a mute button. I can't believe people enjoy these news screamfests.

Twoback, I'm calling the police because all that money the tax cuts supposedly put in my pocket isn't actually there, and I'm thinking you have it. Give it back!

Full employment? It's fine if a person has a job but what good is it to be employed if you can't get enough of a wage to pay for everything (not luxuries, either ... we're talking house note, property taxes, water, electricity, gas, food ... all of which are more and more expensive)? Seriously. So we have "full employment" (we really don't, but hey), money in our pockets and a booming economy, right?

Hey America, wake up! Your economic problems. They're all a mirage. You really DO have more money than you thought. Just look at our numbers! It proves it!
