    It's a two-way street. Always has been.

    King gets a "newsmaker". Guest gets a chance to promote his/her movie or book or cause or just gets a chance to tell his side on something to quell stupid rumors and ridiculous demands that he be sent to prison.


    But your ideas are interesting. Be sure to send a bill to every mine worker who has ever been rescued. Imagine, bunch of idiots doing something dangerous like that just to make money.

    2. Does anyone else get the feeling that at least three episodes a week of Larry King Live for the sole purpose of getting new footage to run on a loop when the person dies? Kinda like NYT updating its obits on famous people on the regular...
