Actually, I think they placed me on irrevocable waivers for the purpose of granting me my unconditional release.

I was hoping to keep it a bit of a secret from the PI folks, but here is the information:

The PI sports staff is going to hang out at Buckley's on Queen Anne. Patrick, the manager, is willing to allow folks to call in credit for the PI sports staff to drink off of.

Jesus fucking Christ .... I'm angry, sad, mad, hurt, ready to punch out the next newspaper suit I see. We've all seen and heard about the Rocky and the P-I's impending demise but the reality of it saps the spirit.

FWIW (and it's not worth much) but I nominate AB's first post to start this thread as post of the year. It has it all - newsworthy, well-written with a pic that is perfect.
