Can someone explain the obsession w/Ronda Rousey

MMA sucks anyway. Just ask Meryl Streep

 

I don't blame her for feeling like she's in a bad spot, it's just over dramatic. She's much better off than most finished athletes, and she'll be fine in a few months. Some perspective on life would do her, and anyone who thinks this is rock bottom, some good.

 

Too bad Nationwide isn't doing "Life comes at you fast" spots anymore.

 

She is mentally and emotionally weak. That is why she is at "rock bottom" after making $3 million (at least) in 48 seconds. That is why she never recovered from the Holm loss. That is why she couldn't handle the immediate adversity Nunes offered her. That is why she went back into hiding immediately after her second loss.

She's a spoiled brat, used to getting her way from the UFC and having her way with her opponents. But when things don't go her way, she runs to her room and locks the door.

 

Classic bully.

 

Because I like to look back at how wrong I can be sometimes.

 

Rousey is quite likely deeply depressed. Her family history suggests that she may be.

This'll end tragically, I fear, with media sycophants and Dana White patronizing her the whole way.

 

I really wish things had worked out between her and Turtle.
