I detest any fighting, so there is that. Don't get the appeal. Maybe I'm a closet Quaker...

I don't like MMA. I think it's alternately boring and unnecessarily brutal.

I don't know how they could sell a third fight with Tate as one she could lose.

It was pretty hard to take any fight on that bill seriously. I didn't pay for it, just watched the thirty second replay like most who saw it.

They somehow sold Saturday night's fight, and Tate is a much stronger fighter than Corriea.

I don't think the pitch is "her toughest fight yet" anymore. I think the pitch has to be, and probably will be, "don't miss what Rousey does next." I'll continue to buy the more well-rounded cards and watch Rousey in gif form, that is until she fights Cyborg.

Bottom line, I think the appeal is like Mike Tyson in his heyday. You want to see her destroy somebody or don't want to miss her losing for the first time.

Really? I don't know how old you are but you are in the service right? Don't you have fighting skills? She is only 135 lbs. I am 53 and I would get my ass kicked but I would think as a 185 lb 30 year old that was in really good shape and pretty damn strong I could keep her off me long enough to snap her in two. Am I totally off base? Also, I was never a fighter so maybe she would have killed me (of course when I was 30 she would have been 8 so I do feel pretty good about my chances).

  12. According to Tito Ortiz and Cyborg, UFC offered her a Rousey fight, at 135 lbs, Dec. 5 at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas.
Dana White flatly denies this, but ... he's flat-out lied before to keep a big fight under wraps.

Ortiz went on an MMA program and talked about the offer. White tweeted out a denial. Then Cyborg tweeted out confirmation of Ortiz's claims.

If Cyborg has to come down to 135, I think she gonna get mauled by Rousey.
