Can you use the word "lynch" in a story?

    I think you proved mine. You inferred meaning where there was none. Is every mention of the word “Otay” a buckwheat reference? Is every mention of “lynch” racially charged? I don’t think so, but if you do then you might wanna tell the dictionary folks. That’d be a start

    I think if you ask 100 sports writers and editors if lynch is a word that is allowed in copy, either 99 or 100 would say absolutely it is forbidden.
