Who was the best long snapper ever?

    - Art "Don Sutton" Monk didn't deserve it.

    - Carter did.

    - Tippett was to LT as Drexler was to MJ. Not offensive, not inspired.

    - Fred Dean? He's no Charles Haley.

  2. I'm not sure if anyone has asked, but what's the difference between Fred Dean and Richard Dent?

A bunch of sacks and a Super Bowl MVP.

A few broken bones and torn ligaments, too.

    For the other guys.

How many played before the 1990s?

  6. That's what I thought.

For the first time, I think Jason Taylor has a good chance at the Hall.

The only comparison to LT is the number.

Chris Doleman = 150 career sacks. Let his ass in, too.

    Wasn't Hacksaw a LB?

Yeah, leave him out and put in Dwaine Board.

It is? I've got Bruce Smith and Rod Woodson. The rest, not so much. Odds favor Carter and at least two of the other final cuts (Dent, Kuechenberg, McDaniel, Derrick Thomas) joining the Class of 2009. Could be some sentiment for Kooch in his final year before joining the Seniors pool, but that didn't work for Gradishar.

And kudos to everyone who gave a thumbs-down to Tags.
