As has already been said: If you care about your writing in each day-to-day activity, you will care about it when you write on a message board.

If your posts show a lack of editing skills, chances are you're either playing a character (hi Boom!), or you produce a similar half-assed effort when you write elsewhere.

Back to the subject of NFL camps and media, etc. I heard the Colts are now allowing reporters to take cell phones to practice (for fear they'll twitter, I suppose) but also not allowing them to take notebooks to practice. Any truth to this? And would the Pro Football Writers Association be able to do anything?

No notebooks? What the hell? What about a digital recorder for dictating notes?

I'd write notes all over my body, like the guy in Memento. At no point in that movie did the guy have a tattoo that said "Sorgi walking gingerly. Left knee?"

I'd just as soon scrub bathrooms at Wal-Mart than work in the gestapo-like atmosphere of the paranoid NFL franchise.

Nice one BT ... less crap to deal with in the Wal-Mart bathroom than most NFL franchises.

Let's lay off Andy, eh? We've had our fun with him and he's done more to damage himself than we ever could.

I hope I stoke up some flames posting here.

Reading all of these comments... three months after the fact... was humorous to me.

I had forgotten about this site until it popped up on my Firefox bookmarks.

Done more damage to myself? Really? How so? I retaliated, I didn't attack

Everyone makes mistakes, and from what I read... you guys found about three of them... since you guys are all "the shit" of your industry, it flatters me you would take the time to do so.

I don't have a name I can punch in google for all of you to check your mistakes, sure, I make a few mistakes, like the one I made last night ;)

And Moderator1... Seriously... lay off of me?... keep it coming boys!! As you guys pointed out, I have thick enough skin, what amused me the most was how pessemistic you all are.

And I come back to the damaged part.... Damaged? From my standpoint I am an 18 year old freshmen who came very close to landing a job with a major news corperation, who is a double major, and enjoying every bit of the college life.

Damaged? Please, don't put that much stock in your opinion of me.

Notice how I left some errors, better get correcting :)
