Blankets and food can be sent to SportsJournalists.com's own Matt Stephens, who is camped out on McElwain's lawn awaiting...... well, pretty much anything at this point.

If Foley doesn't get McElwain, I will laugh my ass off.

That would make the most sense........which means they will announce Bielema fairly quickly.

Bielema came out yesterday and said he's not going. (I know, I know ... Saban).

Frost seems like a natural fit, but supposedly they don't think he's ready to be a head coach yet. He stands a better chance to get the job next time.

Pat Dooley & Chris Low, among others, reporting that McElwain's buyout issues resolved and he'll be Florida's coach.

Yeah, I saw USA Today had it as well.

I'm dying to know what they settled on for the buyout.

As of last night, there was no way Florida was playing a game in Colorado and no way they were paying the full $7.5 mil.

At some point, it's not in CSU's best interest to keep a coach who wants to go elsewhere, and it's hard to blame McElwain for wanting to leave Fort Collins for one of the top jobs in the country.

Pelini has been mentioned as a possible replacement. That wouldn't be a bad hire for CSU.

Best reports right now are CSU is getting $5 million and a $2 million money game at Florida, although I've seen some reports say it's a straight $7 million. I'm guessing it's the former. Still good for CSU. McElwain basically got CSU paid to rebuild the program.

Doug Meacham at TCU will get some serious looks.

That makes the most sense. $7 million will go a long way at CSU.
