    I wonder if Kirby Smart is wondering if he's going to be the next McElwain or the next Muschamp.

    I look for Smart to get the South Carolina job when Spurrier hangs it up in 2-3 years (or Georgia, if Richt quits first).

    Interesting....I like Riley. Be interested to see what he does in Lincoln. But I thought they'd go for someone younger.

    I know Richt had never been a HC when Georgia hired him, but it makes you wonder if you're better off going with the top assistant or someone who has head coaching experience. I know there's no blanket statement that one way is always better than the other, but we've heard for a couple years that Morris and Smart are the most sought-after assistants and I can't help but wonder if Smart's stock is still as high as it once was.

    Same here. I've always thought he was a really good coach, and Oregon State is a really tough place to win consistently, but he's struggled the last few years.
