Oh, no . . . no silence. Instead, SC's worst nightmare:

"So, honey, are you meeting any nice boys out there?"
"Um, well, some."
"Because, you know, Mrs. Feltcherman's boy Ronald is a chiropractor and he just moved to Denver. That's near you, isn't it? Maybe you could get together. He drives a Buick, you know."
"Um, well . . . Denver's not that close."
"So, a chiropractor's not good enough for you? You know young lady, you're not getting any younger. And you're not going to meet any nice boys hanging around stadiums and locker rooms. I don't understand why you don't get a real job."

Repeat every 10 minutes for two hours.

 

Kix is from Baltimore (hi Headbutt!). You should have seen if they were performing this week!

"Mom I'm going to see Kix. Be back late."
"You're going to a soccer game?"
"No mom a concert."
"It's not going to be a loud one is it? You know how I worry about you and tinnitis."
"Yes mom it's going to be loud and I'm not worried about tinnitis."
"No of course not. You kids always thinking your hearing will remain forever."
"Whatever mom I'm leaving."
"You can go to a concert anytime but I only get to see you one week a year."
"MOM!!! This band is from Baltimore! They never tour anywhere else!"
"Uh huh. Go on, have fun seeing Punches."
"Their name is Kix!"
"Whatever it is. Have fun. I'll be here all alone with the ringing in my ears as my only companion."
"FINE MOM I'LL STAY. We can watch Gilmore Girls."
"No never mind, go to your little show."
