What the hell does that matter? Isn't one one too many?

Nope. Smote by God because of the company's stance against gays.

    http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/09/28/census-reports-more-than-130000-same-sex-couples-say-theyre-married/

That's 65,000 gay marriages. If the Chick-Fil-A owner is trying to stop gay marriage with his money, he's not doing a real good job.

"Earlier this year the company invited protest when it was revealed that they made charitable donations in the amount of $2 million to groups that actively advocates against Lesbian, Gay, and Transgender issues."

So let's see, they donate to groups that lobby politicans against gay issues.

Yeah, I'd say they're contributing to preventing gay couples from marrying. They're providing financial support to groups that are devoted to preventing gay couples from marrying.l

Total number of US marriages in 2010, 2.2 million. Pretty miniscule phenomenon to spend so lavishly on.

It's even worse than that ... those funds came from profits earned by exploiting infrastructure that society provided. I'd say we're all pretty "guilty as charged" in this instance.

But the groups he made donations to are simply against gay marriage. I'm pretty sure they're not standing in the doorways of courthouses to prevent couples from getting married. There's really nothing they can do to prevent it.
