Conservative groups lead boycotts all the time. In fact, boycotts seem to be the only reason organizations like the American Family Association or Focus on the Family even exist.

    Why would anyone mind?

The FB stuff if hilarious. Still, if I decided to protest/boycott every company whose leaders didn't fit into my ideals, I'd have to start my own garden and slaughter my own livestock to avoid starvation. Still going to eat the chicken sandwiches. Life's too short to keep worrying about this shit.

My parents didn't let us buy products made in Germany or Welch's grape jelly (because they mistakenly believed that this Welch was the same Welch behind the John Birch Society). There are products/services I don't buy because the owners are supporters of political causes with which I disagree and I don't want my money to indirectly support those causes. It's certainly easier when it's something like Domino's pizza or Chick-fil-A. I can't point fingers at those on the right who choose to participate in an economic boycott.

I'm sure there are lots of things I wouldn't buy if I knew more. Ignorance can make my life so much easier.

Again, it's not the "Christian-ness." It's admitting you're against civil rights.

I have plenty of Christian friends who support gay marriage.

I boycott most goods I know to be produced by Koch Bros. companies, except for Angel Soft toilet paper.

I always imagine it's Charles and David doing the honors with their tongues.

    That's ... creepy.

But, hey, if getting your salad tossed by a pair of old WASPs is your thing, so be it.

Some of us still remember the 80s, when some were convinced by the logo that Procter and Gamble was controlled by the Moonies.

I've heard that too. Where the hell to people get the idea that Minneapolis is in France?
Also, what the hell is wrong with being from France?

Here's the deal: It's a business. Patronize it or don't for whatever reasons you want. If enough people don't, it will go out of business.

What bothers me is when government gets involved to try to make these decisions for me, like in Chicago.

Is Chick-fil-A doing something illegal? No? Then treat it like any other business.

I'm not sure about the origin of that one. As for the opposition, France=socialists.
