But you're a journalist, I presume, and therefore your feelings would be irrelevant if it was on your "beat." And that's where it gets sticky. Can and do we, truly, write minus our personal bias on issue-related stories? Sure it's easy to leave out opinion but digging to present an in-depth and balanced piece can easily be approached with a bias. Let me be clear: I'm not saying you do, but asking it as a general question to the masses.

Hopefully IJAG didn't yell at an editor for getting assigned these stories, unlike one poster who was made they had to interview a lesbian.

Silly boycotts. Didn't think it worked, though.

I can guaranfuckingtee I did on those stories.

And let me clarify ... I just meant that religious people tend to be very passionate about it. And if I were to use the wrong terminology, or explain something poorly, it would be met with outrage. THAT was my concern.

Might want to check with the president on that. According to him, she didn't build that business. Someone else made it happen.

And I thought that drink I introduced you to last month and the fact they only charged you $3.50 would have convinced you there is a God. :D

Wedding photographers are a dime a dozen these days. Everyone with a $500 camera and Photoshop thinks they can become a professional photographer and make a living off it.

it's intellectually dishonest that i think you are playing stupid because i refuse to believe that you don't understand that a good portion of this country thinks gay marriage is a civil issue? i could give two shits, tiger. call it what you want.

and you continue to grasp to the ignorant schtick rather well. did i say the CFA issue was a black issue? i suggested that it was a civil rights issue then you focused on black and white.

And I said that ultimately it's talking about gays (and more specifically, the hot issue being marriage rights). From that understanding, it can't be a civil rights issue except in the states that have approved it. Throwing the "civil rights" issue brings all forms of illegal discrimination in to the mix. Blacks would be among those. But the issue with CFA is not about them.
