Chris Benoit and family found dead

Way, way back someone said they couldn't believe the idea that Benoit might kill his wife, and then be in the house with his son and her body. Well, it happens.

Recently, the woman who was my high school's homecoming queen my junior year was killed, allegedly by her husband, who then stuffed her body in the attic. Then he and their 16-month-old son hung around the house for at least a week before he was arrested (he was busted after being found wandering about two miles away from their house -- yeah, he left the kid alone in the crib).

Fortunately, this stuff doesn't happen more often. But it's amazing how often it does.

 

It started in the comments section on TMZ.com, apparently.

 

Pretty much, yeah. Even if they wanted to resume storylines, the major one was probably going to be continued fallout from Mr. McMahon's "death", so that's clearly out the window.

 

No, THAT I get. But if she was found in the living room...and the kid didn't die until the next day...in most houses I've been in, the living room gets a lot of foot traffic. I can't imagine a kid living in a house in which his DEAD MOTHER is just lying there in the living room.

Stashed somewhere so he doesn't know? And someone tells him Mommy went on vacation? Sure. But she was reportedly in the living room.

 

Well, the D.A. has been quoted in several stories that, when the details come out, they would be pretty bizarre ... which leads one to believe that this isn't a cut and dried "husband kills wife/son" case. I'm not saying the story is true, but it may have some legs.

And Alley, the treatment of a hero turned probable murderer by his fans is a valid point in this discussion. Milk is better for your Corn Flakes than the liquid someone apparently put in yours.

 

Sadly, murder/suicides aren't all that uncommon. For the D.A. to come out and say that, when the details leaked, it would paint a very bizarre story, I found that odd. That was my point.

I'm not saying I believed it. But there have been so many scenarios tossed about, who knows what to believe anymore.

 

Wow...talk about someone pissing in YOUR corn flakes. Back off a little Dools, I've never had a beef with you.

You are making it about you, or your beliefs, as opposed to the story. Chill out.

TMZ has learned more about the deaths of WWE wrestling superstar Chris Benoit, his wife and son -- and the information is extremely disturbing.

Several Atlanta-based law enforcement sources have told TMZ prior to confirmation from the coroner's office, initial reports say that Benoit strangled his wife on Saturday, then smothered his son in his bed a day later. According to sources, Benoit then hanged himself in a weight room inside the family home.

A police investigation is ongoing.

 

Wait a minute, a guy hopped up on steroids and painkillers, goes off on a killing rage? Color me shocked!

 

If people knew the strange background of Nancy when she was with Kevin Sullivan, they'd be more inclined to believe the report of her killing Daniel and Chris reacting to it is accurate, rather than Chris killing his son.

I'm sure the nature of the relationship between Nancy and Chris is why authorities have termed this "bizarre."

 

Jeez, Benoit was really emotionally disturbed it seems like even when I remember some of his interviews from a while ago.
