Odd, I thought he went home on Saturday. Guess there's nothing to preclude him killing his wife on Friday, working a show Friday night and then leaving on Saturday to kill his son.

For all this talk of possible roid rage, doesn't two murders spaced out over a day or more indicate this was a methodical act and not a heat of the moment deal? If he snapped, wouldn't he kill them both around the same time?

  2. Ass. DA just said Nancy was bound (with tape i'm guessing) on her feet and hands ...

Lt. Pope said "from an investigation, continued at the crime lab and autopsies - ruling case as double homicide-suicide. Mr. Benoit had sometime possibly Friday suffocated his wife in an office area, his son Saturday when he was in his bed, and late Saturday early Sunday hung himself. There was no type of suicide note or anything within the half. Benoit was arrested before for DUI in the county. There were a lot of prescription medication that he had received from doctors, legal prescriptions. They were anabolic steroids. He text-messaged a co-worker (I'm guessing Chavo), who received the message several hours after he texted it. There were several hours, no more than a day between the death of his wife and son."

District Attorney - "I'm struck that there's a 7-year-old little boy who's dead. I don't think I'll ever be able to get over that. There was a BIBLE placed beside the body of each of the victims and that was somewhat bizarre."

  4. I've never disguised that I've been a longtime pro wrestling fan. And Benoit was one of my favorites.

That being said, there is no excuse for what he did. I don't care how good a wrestler or was, or how entertaining he was.

If there's a hell, he's there right now. And if there's not, there should be for people who do things like this.

He definitely won't be seeing his best friend Eddie Guerrero again, that's for sure. Those guys who said that on Raw last night couldn't have been more wrong.

I hope Benoit is sent straight to Hell and is forced to be turned over for eternity, with Hitler doing Benoit's signature diving headbutt off the top turnbuckle with a splintered wooden dildo strapped to his head.

    That is all.

Well... Vince McMahon be prepared for a battle, this is definite Roid Rage. A doctor on Fox News said Benoit may have lost his mind and if he drank alcohol with the roids, or added other drugs and made it a disaster.

  9. [blue]Yes, I'm shocked that Fox would be pushing the roid rage angle.[/blue]

Can a roid rage really extend over an entire weekend??

I think I need to re watch or reread about Justin Strelzyk or Mike Webster to see if there are any overlays in the Venn Diagram.

What really scares me is if long term steroid abuse can lead to these types of outbursts, how many ticking timebombs do we have in football, wrestling, baseball, basketball?

Could there be a certain strand of HGH or steroid that causes this? Can this be traced back?

Does anyone remember the kid in Corning or Elmira, NY that stoned the three year old to death back in the early 90s? That kid also did a few things that cannot be written in a a paper (we all know what that means). That kid was put to death I do believe, and the reason for it was the drugs taken by the mother during childbirth made the kid violent and beyond hope. Red hair and certain features the child had that the parents did not share was a reason to think he was altered during the trimesters by the drugs she was taking.

If a drug during childbirth can effect a person mentally so greatly, why not a steroid? I'm not talking all of them, but a certain strand.

I reiterate my earlier post about those tributes being worth a warm bag of piss.

Glad they got 'em out last night, because there's no way in hell anyone would give a "Oh how we love you, Chris Benoit" after finding out he offed his kid and wife.
