Why is the hip-hop community such a focus now?

If some believe this incident is embraced by the hip hop community in their foolish generalizations, go out and find the nearest woman you believe is a part of that community and smack her upside the head and see how much of a greeting you will receive.

Don't want to re-ignite that whole "what is and what is not the hip-hop community" tripe, but read something today via the NY Daily News that absolutely pisses me off.

So, the rag's crap-ass, faux-journalism, unctuous British gossip bitches use two blind sources to say that Rihanna needs anger management, too, and -- basically -- she was asking for it. Jesus.

If I were elected king of all journalism, or at least benevolent dictator, the first thing I do is kill off these jackass gossip columnists. They have no place in any publication, anywhere.

Rihanna also is supposedly thinking of taking him back, which is going to send a really bad message to all the teenage girls who look up to her.

OK, I heard something about this in passing and thought certainly I heard wrong. Something about her accepting a gift from him and saying it didn't constitute forgiveness...but how it sent exactly that message.

Christ, Rihanna. There's no coming back from what he allegedly did. No. Coming. Back.

I actually have to admit I fear for her a little if she takes him back.

Can't even wrap my mind around it.

    "In the doghouse"

Really? That's how they describe it. So you beat the shit out of a woman and it gets you in the doghouse?

This is very sad. A beautiful 21-year-old already showing signs of battered woman syndrome.
Maybe Tina Turner can contact Rihanna and try to help her out of this mess.

Its one thing to "beat" a woman. We've seen that before. But biting a woman? Thats a whole 'nother level of bitch-ass-ness.

A gift, a promise to never do it again and then the woman returning to an abuser is textbook behavior for an abusive relationship.

This is going to make all the girls that look up to Rihanna think this kind of thing is ok.

And the same number of guys will think they can get away with it.
