Chris Brown = Ike Turner?

True. On one of the radio shows I listen to they have been talking about this every day and it is kind of disturbing the number of people who call up and say that Chris Brown was just fighting back and Rihanna is just as guilty as he is, how that works is beyond me.

 

Our 11 year old girl is a Rhianna and Chris Brown fan.

We used the incident as conversation starter with her and a couple friends to talk about how it is ALWAYS wrong for a man to hit a woman.

I don't want to go "WON"T SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!" but I hope she does not take him back so that it shows you can't do this kind of thing and just move on.

 

BS. While I agree that Chris Brown is a scumbag, should be locked up and she should never even talk to one time but to say girls will think it is ok is dramatic garbage.

Do little boys who idlolize Kobe think its ok to "rape" woman while married? Do little Rae Carruth fans run out and commit murder? Are all the little Ray Lewis fans in Baltimore assuming it is OK to hack up people in fights?
Are all the Arod fans running to his cousing for roids?

For the record, Kobe didn't "rape" anyone anymore than those Duke lacrosse players did.

Facts aside, I hope Rihanna certainly thinks about the message it would send if she got back with an abusive boyfriend. One thing many abused women have in common as isolation from friends and family, and a financial dependence on the man, often because of children. Rihanna doesn't have any of those situations that make leaving an abusive situation nearly impossible. I sincerely hope she makes the right choice, given the opportunity she has.

Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.

The pair have reunited almost three weeks after Brown, 19, allegedly battered the "Umbrella" singer on Feb. 8, a source tells PEOPLE.

"They're together again. They care for each other," says the source. The on-again couple are currently spending time together at one of Sean "Diddy" Combs's homes.

Adds the source: "While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves."

You only physically assault and hospitalize the ones you love. Ugh.

 

I wish I could chalk this up to her being young. But she's got enough people around her, and she's always seemed strong enough to know better.

This is HIGHLY disappointing.
