Eh, really it's Drip's fault for being Drip.

Back on the actual topic, Double J was right. Her father does need to keep things civil publicly. He also needs to have a serious talk with his daughter about protecting herself from this dirtbag. Perhaps a little talk with said dirtbag about just how far a father will go to protect his child might be in order, too.

I don't have a daughter, but I would think it may be hard for one who does to be in the same room with someone who did what Chris Brown did to their daughter.

Maybe I am overly emotional about such things because my daughter is so young (she's 5), but I can't imagine it. It would have to be an emotional minefield, trying to protect your child without pushing so hard that you push her away.

Let me preface this by saying that a man should never hit a woman under any circumstances.

Given that we are all speculating is it possible that Rhianna's father does not see what the big deal is?

I have been in the unfortunate situation to know a woman who was hit by her husband. When she called her parents for support the response was "well what did you do to make him mad?"

I have no idea on Rhianna's family upbringing but it may be that she learned that getting hit is not an anomoly, could be a factor in why she took him back.

If that is the case, that makes me even sadder for Rihanna.

It doesn't really have anything to do with being a Lakers fan, and more to do with the fact that Kobe was never convicted of rape and charges of rape were dropped, thereby making him NOT a rapist.

I have nothing to do with it. Just what I've been told from the younger set. Just sayin....

OJ Simpson was never convicted of murder.

Yes, because he wasn't convicted means he didn't do it. There's a difference between being found not guilty or having the charges dropped and being innocent.

So are you a Laker fan?

Not even going to take a tiny bit of responsibility for being the one to post rumors you can't even begin to back up here? Not even a little?

And you wonder why you get the responses that you do on this site.

I read those rumors when the story broke. Why are you angry? They're rumors. If they could be backed up, they would cease to be rumors.

Just because I try to hold a poster accountable for posting bullshit doesn't mean I'm angry.

I'm a Laker fan. I just wish that everyone who says Kobe raped that young lady wasn't such an unabashed Laker hater.

You know, as long as we're throwing these things out there.
