TMZ has obtained LAPD detectives notes from a search warrant in the case. According to the notes, Rihanna read a three-page text message on Brown's phone from a woman. An argument ensued and Brown allegedly tried forcing Rihanna out of the car but couldn't because she was wearing her seat belt.

Brown then allegedly shoved Rihanna's head against the passenger window. When Rihanna turned to face him, Brown punched her, then continued punching her while driving, according to the detective's notes.

Blood spattered all over Rihanna's clothing and in the interior of the car. Her mouth was filled with blood.

Brown allegedly told Rihanna, "I'm going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see."

Rihanna called her assistant and left a message saying, "I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there."

Brown then replied, "You just did the stupidest thing ever. I'm going to kill you."

According to the report, Brown continued to punch Rihanna, bit her on her ear, her fingers and put her in a headlock -- she almost lost consciousness.

Obviously, that was an ass kicking and I'm not talking about that. For argument's sake, I think we can all agree that is abuse.

if this is anywhere close to accurate, yes, rihanna should be kidnapped from anywhere near this effer until her father has shot brown in the head.

Nothing would justify that, and it's highly unlikely this is the first time he's ever hit her. He certainly seemed to have confidence he could beat the crap out of her without too much penalty if these reports are true.

I Digress is correct though. The thought processes of a domestic abuse victim are complex, and I think the mental abuse Chris must have engaged in before he got to the point that he could beat the crap out of a woman is mind-boggling. Abusers don't hit women on the first date, they wait until they've beat them down mentally and emotionally enough that they think they can get away with it. That's why I think Brown, and any men who beat up on women, deserve even more punishment than the law sets forth for the physical attack.

He's a coward and a bully and I don't care how he grew up. I hope some of his mentors in the business quit defending him and realize how serious what he did (and will likely continue to do without intervention) is, before those same celebrity pals are mourning a dead, young woman.

I heard today that Rihanna is refusing to cooperate with authorities any further. Does this mean Brown will not be punished at all for what he did or can they prosecute without her help? I don't know how the legal system works in these cases.

If the word on the street were true, if I were in his situation, I can't honestly say that i would remain calm.

I realize that this is a message board and that there are people such as yourself, who spend a lot of time on it. I also realize that you probably don't get out much and can relate to a machine much better than you can a person. This is a very serious subject but your childish response isn't surprising. It's just sad.

That's unbelievable. So if what you're saying is true--and I have my doubts--that makes it kosher to beat a woman? Seriously, what's wrong with you?

Leaving aside whether or not it's the case here, if a woman I was in a relationship with knew she had a painful, lifelong STD and didn't tell me about it, and then I became infected, I can't say with certainty that there wouldn't be a violent reaction on my part.
