    Apparently, I lack the appropriate amount of ego for this business.
    I've entered one contest in the past 10 years.
    I've got a job to do, for goodness sakes. And a life to live, in those rare instances when my job allows it.
    I cannot imagine spending one second of that minimal "life" or abundant work time worrying about whether I've won a writing contest.
