We had a good Christmas. My wife got a little moody at one point yesterday. We were to/did have supper with her two sisters and my brothers-in-law that evening, but most of the day was pretty low key, which I loooooooved. All our nephews and nieces are grown with their own families, and they were scattered at spouses' families this year. Our closest great nieces are to the age where sleeping in and getting teenage girl stuff rather than when their dad was bouncing off the walls to see the Legos that Santa had brought. She got bitchy because maybe for the first time there were 20 people gathered with non-stop chaos. I finally said, "Hell, honey, we're all getting older. I enjoy the peace."
