As the kids like to say, "This."

I don't disagree. But the point can also be made about all lawmakers passing legislation that directly benefits their donors.

I assume you forgot to turn on the blue font. Otherwise, what fantasy world do you live in? The middle class is middle class and poor people are poor simply because being rich is not how they choose to roll?

Well, it's not as simple as "I choose not to be rich." It's a bunch of little choices, many of which they didn't even realize they were making at the time. But if they had chose differently, most of them would be rich.

It's still a massive, dishonest oversimplification. To say that getting rich boils down to making a few little choices the right way is just insane. This isn't a board game.

Start working in your spare time when you are young.

    Forgo luxuries to save necessity.

Don't get really sick or die in the next 30 years.

Congratulations, you are rich by most people's standards.

Why stop at 30 years? You're waffling.

How is that waffling? 30 years is about how long it would take for most people to save enough money to live the rest of their lives on, which I think is a good definition of "rich."

"Don't die." That's my new personal motto.

I'd keep the "really sick" part in there too, just to be safe.

Of course, the CEO paid for all the cookies. The unionized public employee thought he was entitled to six of them.
