I didn't take him by choice in one of the leagues. I slept through the draft and he was given to me because he's still ranked THAT high.

 

My jackass Commissioner wouldn't let Clemens be drafted, period, because he's not in any AL team's system. What a dickbag.

 

Actually, I agree with that. I would rather him hit the waiver wire the moment he signs with anyone.

Yeah, if you are going to do an AL or NL only league then that is probably the way to go. I was going to draft him, but some idiot in my league took him in the 9th round. Way. Too. High.

Yeah. That's how we did it last season in a mixed-league format. In my NL-only league, he went to the weekly free agent bids without anyone being able to sneak him in as a DL replacement to eliminate the element of chance.

 

FWIW, the last time I won my AL league, I had the douche.

Of course, I gave up a ton for him at the deadline and he did nothing down the stretch. But I still won.
