Well, at least I understand why Smith used Anderson and O'Halloran... Why he used his wife in this movie is beyond me... I think that was his daughter waving to O'Halloran from the window as well...

I didn't mind his wife being in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, since the film was kind of an inside joke for all Smith fans, but she was fucking awful in this one...

I had a completely weird crush on Jeff Anderson after the first Clerks.

If that's the case, then I understand... For some reason, I don't think he is. I think he likes his wife to be on camera even if she has to make out with some actor as a result... I find it amusing that Smith's wife is so insanely skinny...

Between them, they make two healthy and in-shape people.

In any event, he's obviously got a John-Yoko thing for her, minus the transcendantly unattractive looks on her part. He thinks she's talented, no one agrees, and they move on blissfully ignoring just how much she sucks.

If I remember the story correctly, she rejected him before he had money and fame. Then they ran into each other after he had become successful and suddenly she's in love.
    Hmmmm

They couldn't act for shit 12 years ago, either. Anderson is painfully bad.

Anderson's character Randal is hilarious. I thought he did a great job at adding depth to the role.

If you want a well-acted movie, turn elsewhere. But this is without a doubt one of the most entertaining and funnest movies of 2006.

The only time I cringed at the acting was the jail scene with Randall being overly sincere. The rest of the dramatic moments were passable, and he's absolutely at home with the comedy.
Jason Mewes is freaking hilarious. He can even make simple things funny. One of the first scenes when he kicked the beer bottle and said "get the fuck outta here!" just his inflection and tone was really funny. Got a big laugh from the crowd.

Also, I would like to note, on IMDB, current rating is 8.3.

Smith met his wife when she did an article on him about Chasing Amy for USA Today...

    I didn't expect great acting.

For me, it's the second-funniest non-animated movie of the summer... I thought The Devil Wears Prada was funnier...

Wow Devil Wears Prada? I was dragged to that one...Trust me in that Little Miss Sunshine will blow you away if you thought DWP was hilarious.
