    Ugh. It was a little more than a week ago that the weather was nice. We had morning fog. It was chilly in the evening.

    Today: 108. Not a record but it's miserable.

    We are baking and burning here. No monsoons. Fires everywhere. I never, ever complain about rain* and snow here in the Rockies. This is why.

    September 2012 in Boulder the exception with the epic flooding. Otherwise, let it rain, let it snow. Entire state is in drought. It was May 2019 that the entire state was drought-free for the first time on record.

    North Texas is getting a very rare August cold front this weekend. It’ll knock morning lows down into the 60s all next week. Brrrrrr!

    Fun fact: Only 5 times in recorded DFW weather history have there been lows in the 50s in August. Last time was in 1967.

    Two other big fires burning out here. We are bone dry. No monsoons. Very hot.
