You wanna see one fucked up weather forecast? The map has a spread from 123 degrees to one degree. In September. Hell, it's supposed to be 35 in Amarillo.

Laramie, Wyoming: Today's high 80. Tomorrow's high 29. Next Monday's high 76. Otherwise known as summer-fall-winter-spring in eight days. Even God would be impressed.

Still on track for a 60-degree temperature drop.

If it hits 90 or higher today, Denver ties the record for most 90-degree-plus days in a year (73).

Front barrels in Monday night and we could see 1-3 inches of snow in the city on Tuesday. 6-14 inches in the foothills and mountains, hopefully to snuff out the fires we have up there. And we've had smoky skies for the past few weeks and ash and soot have been falling at my place for the past couple of days.

It would be the second-earliest recorded snowfall for Denver (Sept. 3, 1961). It would be the first September snow for Denver in 20 years. Our average first snow is Oct. 18.

It will only stick on grass but it's been so damn hot here it will quickly melt, even with temps in the 30s.

Mind you, this is not a complaint. I never complain about rain and snow here because moisture is vital. I'd rather have too much than summers like this one where the entire state is in drought (after being completely drought-free in May 2019) and the huge fires.

    Another odd weather map:

So that's what would have happened had someone asked John Denver and James Taylor to co-write a song.

There's no proof climate change even exists, let alone is man-made.

    And October/November, March/April/May in Colorado.

Skies here have been smoked in for a couple of days. Can't see the mountains 15 miles to the west. I feel like I'm back in the Inland Empire in the 1970s and it's a Stage 3 smog alert.

I was just looking at the downtown Denver live cam and you can barely see downtown, let alone anything in the distance. Keep all arms and legs inside the ride at all times because you're in for a rollercoaster this week.
