Fuck these assholes and their self-absorption. I've heard of people getting injured seriously at some of this dumb ass gender reveal shot. Just send a fucking card to everyone and say whether it's a boy or girl.
And they're the same kind of people who think little Noah or Lily are the most special children ever.

    Because Colorado.

More than just tumbleweeds (and cows, windmills and tractor trailers) blow quickly across the Front Range ...

It was 101 in Denver on Saturday. 97 on Sunday. 93 on Monday.

This is one mile east of downtown today.

One of the things I like about Front Range weather is, even when it's massively shitty, it doesn't last long. It always changes.

This is what the Willamette Valley sky looks like now. But a deeper orange and no Matt Damon.

The weather is the best part of living here. Back to the 80s by this weekend.

We were having a low-key wildfire season until the 50 mph winds tore through the area on Labor Day.

Now a bunch of wildfires have blown up in North Idaho and the eastern half of Washington. Not as bad as California, thankfully, but the haze and smoke are making their annual appearance.

    Stay safe, everybody.

Imagine if the NW was up for grabs politically, figure Trump's response to the region, whether its fire or civil unrest would be different. The odd thing is, the Rs out here are as Trumpy - if not moreso, than anywhere. Some speaker at a rally just called for Democratic elected leaders to be shot (and of course he was applauded). This rally happened on the steps of the state capitol.
