OK, fresh off a visit to my folks in Florida, here's what they have drunk for as long I've known them.

    J&B Scotch Old-Fashioned
2 oz. J&B (Must be J&B, oh God the scenes I've endured in restaurants when it isn't).
1 orange slice, partially squeezed into glass
    1 lemon slice, ditto
soda to fill a glass already really full of ice
Most important of all: NO SUGAR!!!!!

They're actually quite good, but after two, you really want to switch to something else, even if you're pub crawling.

I like how in all of YF's pictures of these high-falootin' drinks made with upscale spirits, there's a bottle of Malibu in the background, reminding us of what he *really* drinks when he's not trying to impress us.

    LOL.

I'm not going to pretend that I haven't noticed, and been embarrassed by, the Malibu bottle in the background.

When I first set up the bar, I just bought a bunch of booze to fill up the space. As I've gotten more into it, I need more room.

I don't think I've even opened that bottle, but now I'm going to take it as a challenge. I'll have to see if I can make a "sophisticated" cocktail with it.

My haul was a pack of four sub buns (two bags for $2.50) and some mustard. I'll have to put pb&j on it. Once a month when I can afford beer, it's a six-pack of Bud.

Must be nice to be you. :(

Eh, we're having people over tonight, and I've been bragging about my fancy cocktails.

It's not a normal Saturday haul.
