This one's for you MMII. I'd name it for you, but Mystery Meat doesn't sound like an appealing drink, so I called it the Blueberry Tart:

    2 oz. Malibu Spiced Rum
    1 oz. Lemon Juice
    0.75 oz. Simple Syrup
    1 oz. Muddled Blueberries

Lemon, blueberry and coconut? That's an interesting trio. I've seen and drank a lot of lemon/blueberry combos, but never with coconut. Was it good?

Recipe at link is a little different:

Years ago, I used to go to a bakery cafe in Manhattan that made a delicious Blueberry/Lemon tart, that also had coconut. So, I figure the flavors would work ok.

And, I have made a drink with rum, muddled cherries, and freshly squeezed lime juice, so I figured I could sway out each of my ingredients for those ones.

At first, I went with equal parts lemon juice and simple syrup, but the drink was too sweet. I added a splash more of lemon, and it tasted pretty good. Like a refreshing lemonade.

I'm not in a hurry to make another one, but I'd drink it again.

We only have one -- or at most two -- per night.

Well, except for last Saturday. Last Saturday, we all got drunk.

My sister-in-law doesn't drink at all. So, my niece and nephew keep asking similar questions on Facebook, when I post pictures.

    Fuck 'em.

I enjoy a drink or two, and it's been fun to explore new cocktails.

    Ward Eight:

    2 oz. Bourbon
    0.5 oz. Orange Juice
    0,5 oz. Lemon Juice
    0.5 oz. Grenadine

My proportions come from the Bartenders Choice iPhone App. Here's Esquire's take on it:
