    Siesta:

    Ingredients

    2 ounces tequila
    3/4 ounce Campari
    1/2 ounce lime juice
    1/2 ounce grapefruit juice
    Grapefruit twist, for garnish.

    Preparation

    Shake all liquid ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.

    Yeah, I just don't think I like Campari enough to use it in a cocktail. I had to add simple syrup to make this one drinkable.

    Thinking about subbing Aperol for Campari in the future.

    3/4 ounce lime juice
    1/2 ounce Bénédictine
    2 dashes of Angostura bitters.

    Preparation

    Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

    Stay with me, I know it sounds terrible, but it is surprisingly refreshing.

    A shot of whiskey, I think I was shooting some Irish whiskey, chased by pickle juice. Not the infamous poster. A small glass of pickle juice.

    It will blow your mind.
