Davis won't be back next year. And Thompson will be gone, and right now he's their only guy on the inside or outside who has consistent scoring moves.

Davis still projects as a top-10 guy?

Honestly, the VCU kid looks like a better choice right now. I just don't see Davis being strong enough. Do you see him getting tough rebounds in the NBA? The baby face might be throwing me off as well.

Jesus. Not only is Iowa atrocious, they're not even interesting to watch ... 15 passes, 34 seconds off the shot clock, then toss up a shitty jumper.

    Fuck.

And to make this game worse, ESPN is playing Boom boom pow.

Their biggest problem is they apparently need to loosen up their academic restrictions so they can get more of those colored fellas into school and help the program out....[\Paul Hornung, demographics expert]

The NBA loves upside. And Davis has a ton of upside.

A "NO-SHIT?" comment of the night....

So, when is John Pelphrey going to be shown the door at Arkansas? His team has been marred by suspensions, rape allegations, cheating scandals (this is why Beverly went to Europe), and the team just flat sucks. The Razorbacks have lost home games to Morgan St., East Tennessee, and South Alabama, while requiring OT to defeat Appalachian State. They've still got Oklahoma and Texas on their non-conference schedule. I'm not sure the team will make it to 10 wins this year.

Oh, and the actual attendance in a 20,000 seat arena has been around 3,000-4,000 a game.

For some reason, I see him stuggling against players a few inches taller than him. I could be wrong, because Lord knows he puts up the numbers at Carolina.

The VCU kid? Larry Sanders? No one has more upside. Teach him one good move, help him gain better control of his body (which he's doing well with on his own) and look out.
His 18-point, 20-rebound. 7-block night in the CAA final last season ranks as one of the better individual efforts I've seen in any sport.
Plus he's a great kid but I admit a ton of bias there.

Sanders will always be able to block and alter shots. I just don't see one area of Davis' game that you know he will be able to do at the next level.

If all Sanders is at the next level is a poor man's Dikembe Mutumbo (which I think he will be just as good of a shot blocker and possibly as good of a rebounder), then he is worth a lottery pick.

Indiana's better than last year, but then again last year's team would've lost to five piles of cow shit, if you stacked it high enough.

    Thanks for the memories, Kelvin!
