    I don't have until the summer league starts for that guy to get 20 points. What's sad is some of Maryland's players are dicking around and trying more to be cute and win with style -- and they're still winning by double digits. I haven't seen a team fall apart like this UVA squad has in a long time.

    Before I found out about Landesberg, I thought there was a chance, a slight chance, for Virginia to steal this one. Whoops.

    The Villanova-West Virginia game indicated that Gus Johnson is rounding nicely into tournament form. An "OHHH!" a possession in the OT.

    Interesting final minute for sure. Good call on the block, replays showed. Bennett should have kept his coat in his hand but the ref has to show a little restraint there. Tell him to back off and report the foul. Quick T, I thought.

    The NCAA committee seems to agree with you. If you look at seedings, a lot of times, the 8-9 games are between underachieving fifth and sixth-place teams from major conferences that probably should be seeded lower.

    I wasn't too worried. I mean, even if they lost, it wouldn't have been that huge a deal. Bennett will never lose his cool like that again though, that's for sure.

    No Landesberg hurts Virginia. I'm still convinced that some coaches got ahold of some early-season footage, when the Cavaliers started 3-0, and figured out what Tony Bennett is doing. Virginia will get better because Bennett will figure what he wants to recruit to shape the roster. But it's rough sledding for the rest of the season for the Cavs.
