Nevermind. UNI has salted this one away as the Shockers' offense has been horrifically stagnant in the second half.

IIRC, NCAA owns the NIT now.

They still can't force a team to accept a bid.

  4. Any team that turns down an NIT bid is insane. Your underclassmen need the experience.

And remember kids: When Wichita State loses, we all win.

I ain't buying that coachspeak. You've been mediocre for 30 games, chances are you'll be mediocre for another two or three.

  7. I still think it's good for freshmen and sophomores to play under one-and-done conditions.

    Plus, it's extra practice.

Sparty on pace to score 60 whole points today.

    Wolfy, OTOH, might score 25.

Shouldn't we be a little more shocked at exactly how badly UNC sucks? I mean, I knew this would be a rebuilding year, but, jeez Louise. No way a team should be crumbling and folding like this under a coach like Roy Williams.

Northern Iowa looked very, very good today in St. Louis. They will be a tough out in the NCAA Tournament.
