I'm pulling for Cal. They're down 3 with the ball with 10.7 left.

Well, looks like the Paco 10 gets two bids after all.

Yep. UW's depth made a difference today ... 24 points off the bench for the Huskies, to back up Poindexter, Thomas and Co.

We'll see what type of seeds those two get ... probably somewhere around the middle.

It's pretty obvious that in this tournament, there's no big difference between seeds 1-7. Just go play.

Both Cal And UW looked--to me--like teams that belong in the NCAA tournament. Neither looked like it has a prayer to go past the 16, if that. But these teams are not pushovers.

Four seniors start for the Bears. This has to be their year.

For all the bad-mouthing the Pac-10 got this year, I would not want to play either of those two teams in the first round. It took Washington about half the season to identify its roles (Brockman did soo much dirty work for that team the past four years) but they have been absolute gangbusters since mid-February.

    Kansas beats Kansas State again.

Few teams play as hard as the Wildcats, but they will only go as far as Clemente and Pullen take them.

Holly Rowe hugged Sherron Collins after the game. Caught on TV.

    But sideline reporters deserve respect.

And that's two game-winning shots in the last three for Da'Sean Butler. Guy's a raging badass. Is that enough for WVU to sneak into the final 1-seed?

(I have a feeling if Duke and Ohio State win tomorrow, they could go ahead of WVU for that slot.)

Three in four games if you count Nova last Saturday!

Today's sign of the apocalypse: Arkansas-Pine Bluff is headed to the dance.

Does Utah State get an at-large bid? If not, this is why I really don't understand conference tournaments. Team is on 27-6 and on a 17 game win streak, but they lose in the conference championship game...
