Very quietly, UAB knocks off a ranked team for the second week in a row, downing Butler.

Georgia Tech had an afternoon game, too.

Butler can suck it. Over-rated! Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap!

Side-benefit: Knight true believers and whiny IU babies can suck it too. Nice loss to Loyola (Md.). It appears as if Mike Davis is doing just fine down in Birmingham. Welcome to hell!

Knight true believers can also say that Mike Krzyzewski, Pat Knight, and Steve Alford are a combined 31-2 this season. Mike Davis makes it 42-3 but he doesn't count, other than the fact that he must have learned something from Knight while in Bloomington.

Teacher (Huggy Bear) has his team up on student (Andy Kennedy) with under a minute to play at Morgantown. Not by much, though.

For those of you who care, and I know it's millions of you, the Missouri Valley Conference downed the Mountain West 5-4 in the inaugural MWC-MVC Challenge after Northern Iowa beat Wyoming tonight.

Evansville wasn't in it, so they couldn't screw it up. (Hi OnTheRiver! :D )

steve lavin needs to be shot in the larynx. Not life-threatening, just career-ending.

What a fucking rally by Seton Hall ... 12-2 run in the final 49 seconds to force OT with West Virginia.

Also: Mike Davis is fucking terrible. So what if he wins 20 in Birmingham? He still pissed away a ton of opportunity in Bloomington.

Maurice Creek, IU's best scoring threat, reportedly has a dislocated knee. Tom Crean better find a way to get Knight to put away his IU voodoo doll, because it is working.

    Edit: he fractured the knee.
