If the Fiesta Bowl doesn't float your boat

There's a decent-seeming game set for CSS network tonight at 8 central
    Mississippi State at Western Kentucky

Hilltoppers are 1-2 so far this season against SEC comp., with a recent win against Vandy.

Another option would be ESPNU ... and yes, I know it's not gonna happen:

College of Charleston 37, North Carolina 36 (Half)

Or, Cincy and Pitt are down to the wire with 4 mins left.
    62-58 at the moment
Two good teams that look to be Tourney types.

Final: College of Charleston 82, NC 79

Game was at Charleston, part of a 2-for-1 deal, with the other two games at Chapel Hill

Well, William & Mary has won at Maryland, at Wake Forest and against Richmond, which has beaten Mississippi State, Missouri and Florida. When conference play starts for everyone, I'm sure you're going to see a little more sane rankings, but William & Mary will be a team to watch in March.

And for a slow basketball night, it was nice to see Pitt win at Cincy and College of Charleston knock off the Tar Heels.

From the "Gnashing of Teeth" department:
I just rediscovered that DirecTV doesn't carry CSS
Having to listen to State at WKU on XM radio.
26-23 State at half, but WKU making noise early in second

Apparently 7,300 packed in, right on top of the poor State team ... :'(

    39-30 WKU midway thru second.

Yeah, but they also lost to Harvard and barely beat a Hampton team that just now won its third game. I'd probably consider them for my top 25 (not sure if I'd pull the trigger), but second best team in the nation? Probably not.

Bobby Cremins haunts Chapel Hill in his basketball afterlife. Fantastic ...

    So, so beautiful.

    "'l'll never leave Kansas"

    Phony bitch.

Great recruiter, but once the clock starts, laughable.
