The problem in splitting up the Big East is Georgetown and St. John's. It can't go football-schools-only because it would lose two of its largest markets, and one of its highest-profile teams.

Losing Georgetown and St. Johns would be more than made up for by building an actual football conference and getting rid of that hybrid, half want one thing and half want another thing, crap going on.

And I don't think losing St. Johns - with Rutgers, Syracuse and UConn all still in the fold -- would necessarily mean you lose New York market, especially since St. Johns hasn't been relevant since Chris Mullin was playing.

But could they still hold the Big East Tourney at The Garden if they lost St. John?

    UConn fans say absolutely.

Pitino's dapper in his little white suit tonight, surrounded by his white-costumed squad and the white-out that's happening at Freedom Hall.
    Villanova's winning 61-56 with 13:00 left, though.

Blitz made a post that wasn't about Mediocre State University? Color me shocked. Shocked, I tell ya.

I've always wondered why DePaul couldn't become a power. If the right coach could recruit Chicago, why not?

    Maybe I'm an idiot.

Read my posts more often, dickhead.
I do it all the time.

Ah, yes, the other half of them are about some fantasy world where all players and coaches should be taken at their words because they're bastions of honesty.

We can't all be perfect like you.
Maybe you weren't fortunate enough to have gone to college.
If you did, and you don't support your alma mater, well, I don't know what to say about that.
Just keep hiding behind your screen name and avatar and make your shit remarks.
Forget about allowing someone else having an opinion.
    Dickhead.

Louisville down 4 with a half minute to play, BTW

Yeah, as someone who got a full academic ride to college, I did just fine as far as college. Just about everyone here knows I'm a UNC fan and my handle sort of gives that away.

And an opinion is one thing, but posting about where on TV the MSU game is going to be on when no one gives a shit is a whole 'nother thing.

Oh, and as far as I know, I don't even have an avatar.

    You got me there.
    No avatar.
Why do you let people's posts bother you?
Others post about schools, you may sometime, too.
It seems there's more of an underlying issue here.
