I thought they'd be better with Brown back and Dixon healthy, but never in my wildest dreams did I think they'd be this good. It was a team that looked like they'd need to scratch and claw to make it into the tourney and now they look like they could be on track to a high seed. Winning at Syracuse, at Cincinnati and at UCONN three games in a row is easily one of the most impressive runs of the season.

Their issue will be a lack of quality size and scoring ability. They certainly have good enough guard play with Dixon, Wannamaker, Brown and Gibbs. This team reminds me of the Page, Knight, Brown teams that grinded out a ton of wins during the season, but their inability to score will come back to bite them in the tourney around the second or third round.

Last time I saw Lance Jeter (PG for Nebraska) play in person, he was hitting the game-winning 30-foot bank shot in triple OT as Beaver Falls beat Aliquippa in the greatest high school bball game I'm ever likely to see.

Oh, and UNC getting absolutely torched at Clemson, down 50-32 at the half.

Isn't this typically what happens with Clemson though? Then in the second half their sphincters tighten and Carolina surges back to win?

Or is this Clemson team different from its predecessors?

To continue the state of South Carolina jack, LSU holds Devan Downey to 29 tonight. He's pretty freaking amazing.

Well, it's in Clemson, so the Tigers might just win. If it was in Chapel Hill, they'd blow it for sure.

Oh my God - what's next "I'm rubber, your glue...." or better yet "I'll kick your ass....."

I mean, christ, the only thing worse than an internet tough guy is an internet jocksniffer wannabe athlete...

Jesus, if you hadn't convinced us all you were a 14 year old fan boy before that junk, you certainly convinced us with this silliness.

If it's a legitimate question and you've got him dead to rights, you'll be waiting forever. He'll take his trolling act elsewhere and come back when everyone's forgotten you calling him out.

That usually is the case. Still, an 18-point lead is a pretty big gap to make up. At home, I like their chances to keep the lead much better than if they were playing in Chapel Hill.

Oh yes, yes, you got me - he got me dead to rights with an idiotic question I've already answered.

Of course, maybe he's learned from you, will ignore the answer because it shoots his idoitic theory to shreds and spend the next ten pages calling me names like troll!!! -- ooooohhhhhh you bad boy you -- and hoping that if he keeps posting the question everybody will forget that it has already been answered and thus he's already been proven a dunce.

I know it bothers you that i thoroughly and quickly embarrass you every time you try and bring up some of your fanboy brillance but I think you've done a helluva lot more stalking of me in recent weeks than the other way around.

I seem to remember the same thing happening in Clemson last season. I think it was on a Sunday night then.
