Interesting SEC game going on right now: Ole Miss at Tennessee. Rebs up 9 mid-first half. They can really boost their NCAA resume w/a win here.

Nice back-and-forth OT between Louisville and Pitt. A one-point game now with 24 seconds left.

We're not getting Pitt-Louisville here; how did Louisville not win in regulation?

... but almost counts only in horseshoes, hand grenades and A-bombs. Ah well ...

Georgia Tech taking Chapel Hill to the woodshed early in the Dean Dome. Well, well ...

Smokin' Al Koken and Joe Lunardi calling the George Mason at James Madison game on Comcast. Awesome.

Big upset could be brewing. Ole Miss leading Vols by 11 on the road with 12 minutes to go. Chris Warren on fire from 3-point land.

Simple -- They missed two front end of one-and-ones (which, in my book is leaving four points out on the court) and then missed three of four free throws all in the final 1:30 - Yep, they had a five point lead with 1:30 to play, Sosa misses the front end, then a four-point lead with 40 seconds to play and the other dude misses the front end. Then still had a four-point lead with 25 seconds to play and Sosa misses two, then with a one-point lead and like eight seconds to play Sosa makes only one then, like a moron, the one kid fouls Brad Wannamaker with like one second to play and he hits them both.

This was a ridiculous choke job by Louisville. They are better than Pitt in terms of talent and better overall players, I'm convinced of that, but the Panthers are tough, they play smart, they don't waste possessions and they make you beat them.

Pitino also made a very questionable decision with about 20 seconds left -- leading by four points -- he calls a time-out on defense, when Pitt had no time-outs left, and that enabled Jamie Dixon to set up a play and they end up getting a wide open 3-pointer in the corner to pull to within one point.

Rick Pitino may be a better recruiter, but Jamie Dixon is a better coach, makes better in-game decisions and adjustments. See also: Zag's post.

The Tar Heels not only made a game of it, they're up by two now with 1:31 to play. Tech has two free throws, though, coming out of the TV timeout.

Ill-advised scoop shot on drive. Ga. Tech rebound.

    1) Why didn't Roy call timeout? Given his Dean Smith-like penchant for hoarding timeouts, would burning one have killed him?
    2) Why so long waiting to foul down one with less than 10 seconds to go?

Sorry, Dre ... but I feel these are legit questions ...
