Oh come on. He's had nothing even remotely close to the problems of Calipari. Nothing in the same universe, ever, anywhere at any high school or assistant coaching stop, or ever at K-State. To say he'll just "keep digging" his way down to Calipari is asinine and based on exactly zero evidence.

He's Huggins' successor and was an assistant under Huggins in Manhattan. You really think he was squeaky-clean? Really?

Martin is a hell of a recruiter. Of course he was a hell of a recruiter at Miami High, which is why he was fired there and five of his players banned from playing in Florida. His talk that he wasn't personally found guilty of any wrong doing sounds an awful lot like what UK fanboys Calipari's defenders say about his time at UMass and Memphis.

jacksonville's the closest... how did the NCAA arrange a tourney without a first-round game in the Carolinas or Georgia?

Hell, when was the last time neither Duke nor UNC wound up in NC for their first-round game?

2003 was the last time the tournament had zero games in the state of North Carolina. UNC missed the tournament that year, while Duke won 2 games in Salt Lake City (vs. Colorado State and Central Michigan) before getting the door vs. eventual runner-up Kansas in the Sweet 16.

That neither Charlotte nor Greensboro is hosting first and second round games is as surprising as going to the bathroom and finding a cobra inside your toilet.

If they're good at K-State, they
    ARE dirty.

    Great call.

I'll be in New Orleans this year and I'd love to see Texas stomp over NC by 60 or so in Round 2.

Watching K-State last night led me to believe that Frank Martin is fucking insane. I have no doubt he is dirty but is he also crazy? It seems as if his 18-20 year old players are trying to settle him down so he doesn't haul off and hit somebody. I also saw at least 3 or 4 instances when he appeared to call a player a motherfucker. Now I have no problem with colorful language from my coaches but this guys seems unstable. True or false? Discuss...

You know, Frank Martin does look insane. I have a feeling one day he's going to smack the shit out of someone.

But ... his kids play incredibly hard for him. They love playing for him. They call him Frank, not Coach. And I think I heard on the radio that in his three seasons at K-State, he's never had a technical foul. Not sure how he does it, but it's working.

Then everything is cool as far as I am concerned. Like I said, I don't care if a coach swears like a sailor. If the kids he recruits have no problem with his technique, more power to him. I do,however, think he will punch a player in the very near future.
