I have this mental picture of you as the Jimmy Dean rainbow girl lighting up now, with the leprachaun coming out of the office.

It says they are young as shit.

They have serious talent though. Serious talent. Their best game beats everyone elses best game.

The same was said of the Fab Five. Tell me how that turned out again.

    I'd say that about Kansas

Agreed. In the talk so prevalent about "no great teams," I'll counter with Kansas.

Yes, the Jayhawks lost in Knoxville. Who's going unbeaten these days? Some claimed that Kentucky could. Uh ... no.

Thing is, freshmen rarely play six "best" games in a row.

Whichever high seed draws South Carolina on the second day of the SEC Tournament is gonna be pissed.

Downey will never last four games, but he'll busy some ass those first two days.

Full disclosure: I'm a Kentucky fan.

And I'm not bitter about the game tonight, because I had a feeling coming into conference play that this would be the one they lost.

But if I ever, ever commit suicide, it will be because I just listened to Jimmy Dykes call a basketball game. He called Devan Downey's performance the best he's ever seen. The guy missed 20 shots. It wasn't even Downey's best performance in the last week.

They were 13-3 in NCAA play, two Champonship Games, one Elite Eight, they set a record in the Big 10 with 31 wins, I don't think they were failures.

I could not stand them, and I cannot stand the one-and-done Calipari teams of today and what they do to college hoops, but in this day and age, those are the most talented teams.

You'd have to go with Devan Downey in a game of HORSE. Otherwise, for the PBP guy last night to wonder about him being SEC player of the year is ridiculous.

As was said earlier, Kansas is the most talented team in college basketball this year. They don't have anyone as good as Wall, but everywhere else they're more talented.
