Went with wife and child to Outback tonight and caught the last 1:15 of regulation, plus the OT, of KU/KSU.
Awesome finish and high drama there at what for a brief period was the Octagon of Gloom.
Both teams should join GU/Duke as Sweet 16ers.
That's four already, add Kentucky and you've got 5.
All the other 11 berths still wide open and available, folks.

I just want to say thank you for all of you saying Duke is a Sweet 16 team. However, I'm going on record right now as saying I'm not sure it is. So when the Devils lose in the second round ... again ... just remember I said it now.

Funny, I thought the game was in Morgantown like most of the WVU home games.

To see K-State's "Octagon of Doom" being promoted so much this week made me laugh, given how KU's lost only once since Bramlage opened in 1989, given how Oklahoma State just won there last Saturday, and given how there are 54- and 32-game home-court winning streaks going on in the conference that far exceed any home-court edge the Wildcats have in Bramlage.

Haven't watched the game yet, but now that I'm home from work, I can't wait to fire up the DVR.

Sam, for the record, I'm a lefty, and though I lean down the middle, I was thought it was funny and harmless!

Just my two cents here, I think Presidents should be able to have some fun as sports fans and have an opinion about what they watch. Telling them that they should stick to serious stuff gives off the impression that they can't enjoy shit once in a while.

It's the stiffs in Congress who have no life.

Wait ... so Kansas State named their gym after Brian Fantana's cock? I don't know if that's awesome, horrifying, hilarious or both.

"I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nickname for my penis. It's called the Octagon, but I also nicknamed my testes -- my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater. You ladies play your cards right ... you just might get to meet the whole gang."

Funny thing about that is Paul Rudd is a Kansas alum and James Westfall and Kenneth Noisewater were the names of two of his buddies from KU.

It was a fun night for me. KU sends the purple-clad fans home disappointed once again and my all-time favorite basketball player, Rex Walters, coaches San Francisco to the upset of Gonzaga.

    Holy fuck! That's awesome!

Between that and the Power Towel, KSU fans are unquestionably No. 1 in unintentionally sucking ass.

Harvard is not in Cornell's league (figuratively, that is). Cornell will win at least one NCAA game and I wouldn't be surprised at all if they made a deep run. Going out to Kansas and giving the Jayhawks a go like that was very, very impressive.
