That's it. We're going to fight during recess.

The name "The Octagon of Doom" comes from the shape of the building as viewed on Google maps.

With the thrashing that the Big Red laid down on Harvard last night, the only way that Harvard gets in is to win the league.

I think that Cornell still will get an at large bid if they go 13-1 in the league and lose a playoff to Harvard.

I don't think so, although it will be close. They beat Dartmouth 71-37 the night before, and with games like that and what they did to Harvard, the margins of victory will make people notice a little despite the Ivy schedule. But if they lose a game in conference an don't win the conference, my guess is they will be left out of the tournament. The Ivies don't get respect. That loss in conference will be the killer. I do think they will run the table in the Ivies (daring prediction, eh?) and should be a top 25 team, although they might not get the votes, and they will still only be an 11, 12 or 13 seed in the tournament. I feel really bad for the team that has to face them in the first round.

You wanted it, you got it.

Don't forget your power towel. Bring it to every game.

Florida leading No. 14 Tennessee by 6 at half.
Tonight, No. 18 Ole Miss hosts greenhorn (sometimes exciting) Arkansas.
Marshawn Powell is a great frosh and Hogs also have game-changers in Clark and Fortson. Especially Fortson.
Ole Miss is loaded throughout its roster.

Can we say enough about what Baylor's doing under Coach Drew?
That's a tourney team that could make big waves. The Bears don't look intimidated, ever.

Last night was the fourth game we've lost in three years there. And if you haven't been there in three years, to say that we don't have a home-court edge is absolutely ludicrous. When the fans are being so loud that you can't hear the whistle, that the players on the court can't even talk to each other, that's a definite advantage.

In all seriousness, last night was a great atmosphere. But when you don't sell out every night, lost your last game there (now two in a row) and only beat your biggest rival there once every 30 years or so, people outside of the Manhattan-Junction City area might chuckle a little when people try to act like the "Octagon of Doom" is Cameron Indoor.

Fox Sports continuing their trend of hiring bad directors.

Seriously, the time for crowd shots is not during a fast paced, up and down basketball game full of transition play. But it never stops those dickbags from showing dorky band geeks when they could be showing in-game action instead.

Arkansas leads No. 18 Ole Miss 69-66 with 5 mins left.

    EDIT: Arkansas 80, Ole Miss 73 (F)

Did I see this score correctly - USF 70, Pitt 61?

Is USF any good this year?

    UVA 50, UNC 32

Oh, they are playing in North Carolina.
