    Anyone cover East Carolina? Curious what Mack McCarthy needs to do to get that interim tag removed. That is a job, though, that can make a very old man out of you very quickly.

    Have you watched them? Warren is phenomenal, and the roster is full of enough size, skill and toughness to make a nice run. And Kennedy is an outstanding coach.

    I would imagine coaching in the Conference-USA post-Big East raid would be fairly comparable to coaching in the Big West circa 1991.

    Interesting character, too. I enjoyed covering him. Never a dull moment.

    He beat NC State at home this year and lost to an NAIA team at home. I think he gets to 10 wins, they'll give him a real shot. But that's about as tough a job as there is in DI.

    If Georgia Tech can keep shooting so well (it shot 51 percent in the first half) and hitting the offensive boards as hard, it has a shot at upsetting No. 1 North Carolina. The Jackets trail by two at halftime, but I have a feeling that they can't keep it up, though.
