And an outstanding person. I covered both of his teams - Cincy and Ole Miss - as an out-of-conference writer and have to say that he might be one of the most down-to-earth, realistic coaches in the nation.

#1 UNC losing to the worst team in the ACC, 10 minutes left.

The worst team in the ACC and the only one with a losing record. UNC always has had trouble winning at Georgia Tech and it will be fortunate to survive this one with a one point lead and 3:41 left. Ellington just isn't having his typical game and the Tar Heels are depending too heavily on Hansbrough.

Yikes. South Carolina wins 70-66 at Arkansas. Bad, bad, loss for the Hogs.

I've been dicking around here and not paying close attention. Has DePaul gagged a decent lead against Villanova?

It just goes to show you that even in a year where there really are only two ACC teams with a legitimate chance to win the national title, winning on the road is rough -- even against the last-placed team.

That's two escapes by Chapel Hill. Clemson couldn't hit free throws and Georgia Tech couldn't run a quality offensive set. Good freaking grief ...

I can't believe Peacock had to take that fadeaway garbage shot in the lane with two guys open on the wing. That must be why Georgia Tech is 7-9. No decision-making ability whatsoever.

Tech sure hit the offensive boards well, though.

No joke. Outside of Hansbrough, does anybody in Baby Blue really want to do any dirty work? I mean, many of them look good gliding up and down the floor, but are any of them willing to get a floor burn, box out or do any of the behind-the-scenes stuff?
