I question some of Romar's PT decisions. They are starting to play better with Venoy Overton in the lineup at PG and he probably should have been there earlier, but who knows? For every game Appleby wins for you, he loses two with his streaky shooting, horrific ballhandling and inability to play team defense. Brockman is the most underappreciated player in America, which would not be the case if ESPN gave the Pac-10 half as much screen time as the Arena League. The guy is a true stud.

  2. I do not like what happened in Louisville last night.
    Not at all.

The Pac-10 is such a jungle. Eight teams from that league deserve NCAA tournament bids, at least right now.

I would say 6-7 fro mthe Pac 10. No one expected my Sun Devils to be this good, and they still could fall apart. But beating U of A and Oregon at home and Cal on the road... Exciting times in Tempe.

    Thanks NC State.

Hell, ASU is the third best team in the conference right now. Saturday should be an interesting game given the Devils' small frontcourt matching up against the Lopez twins, Lawrence Hill and Taj Finger. But Stanford doesn't have anyone who can guard the Harden-Abbott backcourt.

Oh I do. Loved the defense the Cards threw at them. Don;t look now, but Louisville is starting to play. If Palacios and Padgett can stay healthy the rest of the season, they could make a nice run in the tourney.

Wish Tubby could have gotten his 400th win against the Hoosiers as well. Then sent Sampson a text message about it.

I tell you how? Bucky Cox kept tipping the ball off the rim back to Emmenecker, who then throws another one off the rim for Cox to tip it back to him again, and then Emmenecker drains one at the horn.

WEEK-TV has the highlights on-line, if it's still available. I agree, Bradley stood around and thought "Shit, Drake won't win this, because these sad sacks couldn't hit a GW jumper if they tried....

    oh fuck, they just did."

    I did.

Maybe not like this, but I thought they'd be a bubble team. I think the Pac-10 has six in right now (UCLA, Wazzu, Oregon, Stanford, Zonas), two on the bubble (USC and Cal) and one that could get there in Washington. I'd be surprised if it isn't seven by the end of the year, with a big assist from the Mountain West and WAC, which are doing everything they can to make sure their student athletes are back in class and ready to focus by early-March.

Boy the Mountain West sure is taking a dump. San Diego State's RPI dropped 35 points after losing to Northern Colorado, BYU continues to lose steam and UNLV, Utah and New Mexico are all interchangable.

    RPI List...

Tennessee heads the list. Saint Mary's is quite high in there as well. Eastern Illinois rounds up the bottom.

Having seen them play, I have a very hard time believing there are five teams in America worse than NJ Tech. The team is 0-for-flippin'-19 and has lost 17 times by double digits ... and the other two losses were by nine.

There's a hell of a story to be done about that 0-19 NJIT team.

Going D1 had to be a money grab by the school, and now they're paying off the kids by getting the shit kicked out of them every night.
