College basketball thread...

Every team has down nights or 2-3 game stretches where they are not playing their best basketball. UNC just seems to be in one of those stretches.

I'm guessing they will lose 1-2 more games and play Duke in the ACC tourney final.

 

Everyone can be better. Most of us miss very little on this board.

Kentucky might lose by a lot tonight.

 

Hurricanes lose in ESA ... to N.C. State.

J.J. Hickson put back a missed layup by Gavin Grant to tie the game in OT against Miami with three seconds to go. Grant then stole the inbounds pass.

Nice day in the Triangle. NCSU and Duke win, Chapel Hill busted. I like it, I like it ...

 

Amazing what's happened to Miami now that they've started actually playing someone worth a damn.

George Mason's Dre Smith was 10-10 from behind the arc tonight in a win at JMU. I believe it's an NCAA record for the most 3-pointers in a game without missing.

I just don't think either of these teams is very good. I think both will be better at the end of the season, though. The Cats will be fighting for an NIT berth at that point, and the Gators could be on the NCAA bubble.

That N.C. State victory was reminiscent of some of those 1983 wins. You think that guy who threw the late inbounds pass for Miami might be yelled at at some point?
