Syracuse has only four teams in the Big East with worse conference records and 11 with better records.

You could be a very good team in the Big East and never even play for the conference tourney title in the Garden for 10 - 15 years. So many damn teams. The Big East is just insane.

I'd like to see them go to two 8 team divisions, and make the schedule more balanced somehow.

You have a better chance of making the Elite Eight than you do winning the Big East Tourney.

Let's say you are a three seed...

You have to beat a 13 to make the round of 32. In round two you get the six seed or the 24th ranked team in the county. You beat them, then you get to the round of 16 and face the eighth ranked team in the country, or a two seed. You win that game, and you are in the Elite Eight.

That sounds easier than beating three tough conference foes in one weekend.

Sean Sutton looks evil when he speaks. Pure, pure, evil. How does this guy go into anyone's living room and convince mama to let her son play for him?

I covered the K-State-A&M game on Saturday, and I'll be at the KU-K-State game on Jan. 30. And while I don't know if K-State is ready to take on Kansas, I certainly think they're talented enough to be a top-3 team in the Big 12 and could earn a pretty good seed in the NCAA tourney.
Now, keeping Beasley and Walker around for more than a year might be a little bit tougher.

I would say you have a better chance of winning the lottery than seeing Beasley in the Little Apple after this season.

Eight figures vs. K-State. Come on, who wouldn't want to stay in Manhattan?

Who knows? Maybe he'll be in the big Manhattan.

Whomever gets drafted by the Knicks might just mysteriously have a fax show up in the coach's office saying they were returning to school.
    Just saying.

And that fax will get crumpled up and lost somewhere in Tubby Smith's office.

Glad you caught the reference. And Tubby Smith is a great guy. His agent used to tell me that all the time.

Anyone care about Sutton going after 800?
