Well, there's this part of basketball called offense, which normally features putting the ball in the basket. Kevin O'Neil does not believe in this part of the game, and his teams are often a tad inadequate in this facet.

 

For fear of sounding like a Wazzu fanboy -- hell, I admit to it -- Arizona shot 19 FTs to four for the Cougs by the 7 minute mark of the second half and led by 16. The total ended more respectable, with 'Zona taking 23 FTs to Wazzu's 12. Tough place to win and tougher yet when the homeboys drop threes at nearly 60 percent. Bad night for the Cougs.

 

Oregon just hit a 3-pointer to go up 56-51 over UCLA with 11 minutes left. The Pac-10 is looking crazier every day, especially with UW defeating Arizona State. On the road, no less.

Man, UCLA might have the most athletic backcourt in the nation when they have Collison and Westbrook in there at the same time. Those guys are specimens.

 

No doubt. When the Bruins have all their players, they're quite hard to handle.

 

Did I see that right? Oregon has 20 rebounds with 25 seconds left? Love has like 17 himself.

 

Shame Oregon let this one get away, but Love's had one helluva night.
